The beauty of handmade items
Everything we make at Just A Girl Woodworking is truly handcrafted—carved, burned, and stained by hand. We do not use paint, CNC machines, or lasers. Because of this, every piece will have its own natural variations in wood grain, color, and carving details. No two items are ever identical, and that is part of the charm and authenticity of handmade wooden American flag décor.
Our stars are carved directly into the wood, not glued on or stamped. All detailing is done by hand with traditional tools.
Processing and shipping your order
Processing Time:
- In-stock items: Ship within 3–5 business days.
- Custom orders: 2–3 weeks, depending on workload and design details.
If additional time is needed, we will contact you directly.
Shipping:
Orders are shipped to the address provided at checkout. Once the package is scanned by the carrier, delays, loss, or damage during transit become the carrier’s responsibility. All items are packaged securely to minimize the risk of damage.
Outdoor pieces are sealed, but natural weathering will occur over time. The 22x33 size cross includes a removable outdoor stake for yard or memorial display.
Returns, exchanges, and cancellations
Returns & Exchanges: All sales are final. No returns or exchanges are accepted unless the item arrives damaged.
Damage Claims: If your item arrives damaged, you must contact us within 48 hours of delivery. Please include clear photos of: the damaged item, the packaging, and the shipping label. We will work with you on a replacement or solution.
Cancellations: Orders may be canceled within 24 hours of purchase. After 24 hours, work has already begun and cancellations are not accepted.
Custom Orders: Custom pieces (names, dates, phrases, memorial details, etc.) are non-refundable once carving or burning has started. Please double-check spelling and details before submitting.
We may use photos of finished pieces for examples or marketing unless you [[contact us to opt out]].
Your privacy matters to us
When you shop with Just A Girl Woodworking, your personal information is treated with the same care and respect we put into every piece we make. We keep things simple, honest, and secure.
Information we collect: We only collect the information needed to process and deliver your order: name, shipping address, email address, and order details. That’s it. We do not collect anything unnecessary.
How your information is protected: Your information is protected through secure website hosting and encrypted checkout systems. We do not store or have access to your credit card number—all payments are handled safely through trusted third-party payment processors.
What we don’t do: We do not sell your information. We do not trade your information. We do not share your information with outside companies. Your personal details stay between you and our shop.
