Our story: Crafting patriotism with heart
Welcome to Just A Girl Woodworking, where passion meets patriotism. Discover the journey that led to creating meaningful, handcrafted pieces that honor service, sacrifice, and country.

Our roots: A passion for patriotic craft
Just A Girl Woodworking began with a simple love for creating things by hand. For me, patriotic pieces resonated most deeply. Our family has always held a profound respect for service and country, and that pride naturally flowed into my work. The moment I carved and burned my first wooden flag, I knew I’d found something truly significant—not just for me, but for the homes these pieces would eventually grace. Based in Missouri, we create each item with intention and care.

Uniquely handcrafted: Beyond mass production
What sets Just A Girl Woodworking apart is our commitment to true handcraftsmanship. Every piece—whether it’s a wooden American flag, a military star, or a hand-carved patriotic cross—is made entirely by hand in Missouri. We never use paint, lasers, or CNC machines. Each stripe, star, and cross arm is carved, burned, and stained by hand, ensuring real depth, texture, and character in every item. No two pieces are ever exactly alike, making each a unique work of art.

A message of pride and honor
The core message we want our handcrafted patriotic items to convey is heartfelt pride—pride in our country, in service, and in the individuals being honored. Every flag, cross, and star we create is infused with this sentiment. Our stars are hand-carved, not simply applied, and every detail is burned and stained by hand. When you see our work, we want you to feel the time, intention, and respect carved directly into the wood. These pieces offer a sense of honor, gratitude, and connection, serving as personal and purposeful tributes.
"The hand-carved flag I received from Just A Girl Woodworking is absolutely stunning. You can feel the care and dedication in every detail. It's a true piece of art and a proud display in our home."
